What is the best bang for buck? wanting to buy new shocks want both comfort and handling. I also may cut the springs a little bit so it will fit over my 255/45/17 tire

Our most popular shock is the KYB Gas adjust.  If you are switching to gas shocks, you really should change all four.

I'd bet most of us are using KYB gas adjust. my reason is because they are a little cheaper than Bilsteins which are said to be one of the best for the money.

I would recommend the KYB. As previously stated, you need to replace all fours. I really like the ride with my adjustable springs.

The yellow bilstiens are working fine on my 72 small block.  Good ride and handling.  Re-worked the total front-end, springs and bushings.  VERY nice now.

I agree! The Bilstein shocks are excellent I have not regretted having them on at all! Well worth the money!

If I had the extra cash I might have gone with the Bilsteins.
However, I never, ever have any extra cash. LOL
I went with the KYB's on all four corners and have no regrets.

I would also agree on the Bilsteins, but my second choice would be KYB's.
