82 black corvette, you cant go wrong there  Im assuming you have confirmed its the motor, not the switch that is the culprit?  Id check the switch first, they are available and not overly expensive.  There is a multi pin connector under the seat where the power wiring comes through the carpet, give that connector a good look and make sure its good and snug  You will have to remove, or at least lift the seat tracks to get to the connector.  If you have to replace the motors you are probably going to have to go to a used part vendor and may have to buy the complete track, motor assembly.  Larry with corvette specialties is a supporting vendor on this forum and may be of help here. There is a guy in San Diego that has three warehouses full of C3 parts.  Named Steve.  I'm getting a lot of parts that are hard to find from him.  If you need help locating parts I can forward is email to you.  (I cannot do it now as I'm in Japan for the next week or so and do not have it with me)   If you want confirmation of the condition that is easy also he is only about two miles from my house.  Bill  "life time member number 24" put me in touch with him about six months ago.
