The pin and spring on my 75 that holds the gas pedal on keep coming lose and falls out. I have both the pin and spring,am I missing a part that holds this assembly in?

Yup, There is a little washer thingy that goes on the end of the shaft to hold it in place!!

On mine its just the spring and the pin. Its suppose to be a tight fit, but when the plastic pedal hole gets worn out the pin falls out. I know its a PITAAngry  to get it back together. "T"
