I convinced my wife (she is 5'9" tall) to reach back by the rear glass  while I was driving to find the problem. She eventually was tucked into that little space and not very happy about it. She said next time I have to crawl back there as I am not as tall as she is. Sure glad she found it the first time :D it turned out to be the U shaped plastic trim on the inside of the rear glass and is driving me nuts. I am going to remove it but was hoping before I do someone can advise me on what to do to fix it the first time. It is in an a awkward place for an old fat guy to try and work in.

No hire a young short blonde!Shocked
See if there are rub marks, may be vasiliene or some soft rubber foam may do the trick?

There are clips that hold that U-shaped piece of trim in place. You won't see them until you remove it (and the other related rear window trim pieces in front of it).
It's possible that a piece of luggage or whatever knocked one of the clips loose.
I redyed all of the rear window trim before I put it back in. It freshened up the interior a bit.

ebo- did you miss the part about his wife being 5'9" tall. Do you really want him to die an early death?
Regarding the rub marks and vasoline and soft rubber, just exactly what were you referring to?

She is a bi polar red head too. I gots to be real careful at times. Like when I go collect the rent from the 31 year old cutie that lives in my old single wide trailer. I keep telling her she is eligible for rent subsidy and free vehicle repairs, but she fears the red head too Evil Smile

BTW I haven't gotten to removing the plastic yet to look at it. I'll let y'all know what I find when I do.
