So I decided to replace my beat up interior with new carpet and rear compartment unit. It didn’t come out too bad for an amateur. Any suggestions on cleaning the radio face and gauges?
Next up, upper control arm bushings and ball joints. Should be fun, right!!
Thanks Paul, I may need your help Bob
Rich,
Thanks for the compliment. I had fun and learned along the way. BBQ sounds like a great idea. I’ll try to arrange something early in the summer. Don’t want to interfere with Paul’s BBQ. His party is too good!
Jim,
I did it piecemeal and had to wait for parts. But I think I invested about 20 to 30 hours of my time.

Thanks Joel. I want to replace the blue dots, now I have a legal reason to do so. My wife can't stop me now! I've already got a ticket for my license plate frame. It was slightly covering the words "New Jersey". Better then the speeding ticket. Bob
You guys are making me feel good about myself. I’m starting to get corky. Maybe I’ll try to replace the pinstripes and install the Indy decal myself???
As for the blue dots, now I have a legal reason to replace them. My wife can’t stop me now. I got a ticket because my license plate frame was covering the words “New Jersey”. Better then the speeding ticket the cop could have given.
