I have a question on the interior overhead t-top liner that surrounds the dome light.

I am sure its the original liner but my queston is the aft end of it is sort of oval so that there is an opening you can see when viewing from the outside rear window. My question is when viewing mine you see the inside of the liner and its not covered or painted. How should tthis really look... I'm new at this corvette thing and  last summer had enough things to fix up that I did not take notice of others I saw.  If you can let me know how the 78 should look or am I missing something that should be in the interior to cover this opening...thanks

Just looked at mine. The center T top liner is interior color and behind that is a black trim piece that meets the window. It is the width of the same center section and 2 other pieces come up from the side to meet it. Can post picture after work later if that helps.

Thanks for looking it ust be this black trim that I am missing otherwise if you look from rear to front through the window you see in the opening as the back of the  t-top center liner has an oval end anddoes not fit flush with the ceiling or glass...thats where you can look inside and see the top side of the t-top liner that is not finished unpainted  so something is missing... If you could link a picture that would be great Thanks  again for looking ..Mark

Managed to get one picture before my battery died. I would think most suppliers would have these trim pieces.
