well i finally got the 86 seats installed in my 75. i used the seat rails from the 75 and made up brackets to bolt the seat buckets to. took about 2 hours for each seat. first one may have been a little longer as it took some time to scope out how to do it.
to me they look a lot better in there than the originals and are a lot more comfotable. it even looks better looking in the back window with the headrests showing.

This is what is so dang kool about this place!
I was jawin with SRJ the other night about maybe upgrading the seats in my red 80. That will be the regular driver in the future and the one I want to take to 2011 gathering. We were not sure if anyone had tried this, so tonight i used the search funtion and found this thread....awesum.
So fast Eddie how have those seats worked out now that you have had them in for a couple years?
