I'm shopping for floor mats, the vendors are asking which color of blue for the carpet. I'm being offered royal blue and bright blue as the OEM name for the carpet....anyone..anyone?

Thanks,
Dave

I found Medium Blue, Midnight Blue and Dark Blue on Mid-America's site.  The color selections varied between the Cut Pile and 80/20 Loop carpeting.

For '72, the only blue for the interior was "Blue", code 412...not dark, medium, light, or anything else...just "blue". Wacko

Exactly! So why the repop vendors have all these cute names is beyond me....it would be much easier if everything was coded. I bet if I throw 412 at them they will ask me what color of blue that is.....ha ha ha Cry

As usual you are correct Sir.  Thumbs Up

But I have to split a hair on this one.  The critical word in your reply is "interior".  As is evidenced by multiple vendors there are many shades of blue for the carpeting none of which (that I've seen) have a color code matching the interior color code.  I'm just sayin'... Wacko

YA..that's what's so kewl about black.....it's ALL the same....LOL
In '72, there was no "custom" interiors, with the leather seats, plush carpet, etc, for BLUE. I think some of the vendors offer different shades of carpeting to cater to those that want to change the colors, or style of rugs. If I am not mistaken, the vendors will send you color swatches of the carpeting so you can get the correct match for what you have. I know ACC does, and I think Mid Am will too, if requested. This might be the way to go....get a sample from the vendor, and chose the one that works. I happen to have a complete swatch package from ACC I got when I was an authorized retailer for their rugs. I can dig the books out and see what it has....might help. Smile
