I'm getting around to fix the horn. There is this white plastic piece in the steering column that is broken off. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement? It's circled in red in the photo below.

No, the aluminum part and the spring go inside this plastic cylinder and that's the part I'm trying to locate. I believe it's function is to insulate the aluminum pin from contact to the metal of the steering column. That black plastic part in the link locks the aluminum pin into the white plastic cylinder.

I think the little black plastic piece in the brush kit is the insulator...check out the kit #20505 on the Ecklers link...

I just replaced my entire steering column, with a new wheel, horn button, etc - to get rid of slop and some junk Grant stuff the former owner used.  I was able to get everything for it from MidAmerica Motorworks - bit cheaper than Eckler's as I recall, but that piece came with a little horn repair kiit that is sold an MidAmerica. www.mamotorworks.com

Have fun.
