Glad you made it back ok, Dave.
Loved the pics! (kinda got tired of seeing the red car with the flags on it though Wink)
But thanks for sharing nonetheless.
Its good to hear you all made it home ok.

Anyone hear from Jim (Riddj)  he was headed east with no wipers that last I knew.

Barb - the BVD comment cracked me up!  hope there wasnt any damage...to the camper, or the undies LOL
Kathy - I still wish I had your courage.  Its so good to see you make it every year.
Gary - nice to meet you. I enjoyed talking with you.  And your car isn't half bad either!
Dave -  I enjoyed your company.  Thanks again for breakfast and dinner....and for not being a snorer.

I left Saturday afternoon for home and found rain about 10 miles from the house. First time since I owned it that it got wet while driving! Gave it a good wipe down and covered it up so it would sleep good! Had a great time at Carlisle. Special thanks top Mark who left me check out his car so I knew what mine should be like when done. Shame the weather dint hold out another day but we get to do it all again next year! Glad to hear that Frank and Bobbi made it thru the night. Was thinking of you as the weather got ugly here last evening. Hope everyone elses trip home was a good one!

Yep, we made it back fine. A successful parts run even though the weather chased away a lot of vendors. Sorry we didn't get to meet up with anyone there.

we left Sat. Morning got home fine. We made it thru the storm without any flooding or power loss. There  was plenty of it all around our area, things are slowly getting better.
sorry we only got one day at Carlisle, but we had a great time, always fun to see good friends!

We ran into a few five minuet/ 2-3 mile showers. Just enough to make us roll up the windows and stuff them with towels. Car worked fine, and leaks at the same places the convertable does, WINDOWS!  We still have no power as of this hour. Lost it Sunday morning about 0930. They do not expect to have it repaired till NEXT MONTH! September 1st. Shirley said she's leavin me to batch it. She is goin to our daughter's to shower and wash er hair. At least she has hair to wash!  Home is fine, few sticks and limbs to pick up. No water damage. Generator will get a work out to keep fridge, freezer and microwave goin.  M-n-S

Mark - sorry to hear about the power outage. We had to take the day off work today due to a transformer blown in that area of town.  Which sucks because now I have to blow a vacation day.
Hope you get it back before the 1'st.

Let us know if you need anything.

Sorry to hear that so many had problems. Power here only flickered Saturday night (according to daughter) and has been fine since. My mother (Whose house is 4 miles from mine) lost power and cable Saturday night and got it back Sunday evening. Got a text today from Dan (danascar) and Kathy and they had no power when they got home with no estimate of restoration. Hope everyone makes out OK!

well I thought the day off yesterday would be nice until I realized I had to burn a vacation day for it.
Oh well, could be worse.  I certainly hope everyone is getting their power restored.

Trip home from Carlisle was the easy part. Was told by our daughter that power went out here at home about 10:30 Sat. night. Had to bum a generator to keep fridge and freezer working and go to daughter's for showers. Well it just came back on around 6:30 tonight Exclamation Big smile  No real damage here other than tons of leaves and branches in the driveway....kinda think they blew Irene out of proportion. Did see quite a few trees uprooted and snapped off on the way home and a river very close to coming up on the road we were on, but that was the worst.Clap
