In case you were planning to attend the C3VR Mid-Atlantic Gathering and Keystone State Corvette Club cruise-in on 4/9/2005... and in case you were not already aware... it has been canceled! There were some problems in the administration at Keystone State CC so they canceled the cruise-in, which in turn affected plans for the C3VR Mid-Atlantic Gathering. So it looks like we are planning to reschedule the C3VR Mid-Atlantic Gathering for the weekend of 6/12, and have it focus on the C3VR sponsored Corvettes for a Cure in Phoenixville, PA.
Please use this thread for any information regarding the new date/location for the C3VR Mid-Atlantic Gathering!

DATES FOR THIS EVENT ARE 6/10-6/12/2005.
Here are some of the details that I have so far:
I do need a head count for the tour, there is NO LIMIT on the number of people for the tour ... they want to know how many donuts to buy.
I also need a head count to make reservations at Ron's for dinner. So, I need to know how many people are coming altogether. Plesae REPLY and let me know what your plans are.
Thanks.
Jimmy
Hi Folks,
Just wondering who is coming to the C3VR gathering on June 11th in PA.
So ... let Jimmy know so we can get dinner reservations on Saturday night. Plus a headcount for the restoration shop tour on Saturday morning. How many are staying over for Adam's "Corvettes For A Cure" car show on Sinday?
We'll be there for the dinner and show. Not sure on the restoration shop tour. That is being determind on how my other half wake ups...

Unfortunately I won't be able to make the gathering. That weekend is the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life for which I am deeply involved.
Hope you all have a great time.

Another head-count update above.
I think we're going to have to scrap the tour of County Corvette on Saturday morning. I've seen it, Jimmy has seen it, Sarge is the only one that is scheduled to be there in plenty of time to make it there. Blu72 will be cutting it close. So even if Blu72 makes it, that would only be 4 people, 2 of which have already been there. I don't even think it is worth it for CC to hold the tour if only 4 people are going to be there. We'll have to come up with something else to do that day.
Hi Everybody - Well, it's June 1st and still there are only 2 takers for the tour of the County Corvette Restoration facility, so I guess we will cancel that activity. ....

It's probably just as well. Looks like the owner doesn't like me anymore. Read the entire thread about my car at his shop on Corvette Forum, and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Sorry fellas, I am going to have to back out of this trip. I really wanted to meet everyone, but for sure some other time. We are building a house - I am the builder, LOL, and we are in contractor hell right now. The house needs to be finished before July 4th, a big event is planned for my grandmothers 100th birthday bash.
I am truly sorry, I feel so bad after all this planning and everyone's hard work trying to make this happen.
I am so dissapointed...what else can I say?

Bummer Bruce,
Understandable though. House stuff always takes priority over vette stuff. Maybe we'll see you at C3X in BG this fall. Give our congrats to your Grandmother for achieving the "Century mark." I bet she's seen a lot in her lifetime. lol.

Adam or Jimmy---------
Plan change make it possible for us to try to attend the gathering on th 11th. Will call for reservations this PM. Hope this doedn't screw up your reservation count too badly. Will be attending a reception in the area so will arrive late Friday PM.
Jim D.
Thanks Sarge, I feel a little better, but still bummed.
Yes, grandma is quite a lady, still sharp as a tack, asks about the "Old Chevy" all the time LOL.
I was thinking we could group up at Corvette Carlise, nothing really gets in the way for this one...

I'm in the process of packing the vette and will be on the road in about 3 hours. Will be at the parking lot waiting for more vettes to show up. Oh, I'm excited. This will be the first vette show this year.
See everyone there.
Well, how was it? Waiting on the details and pics. Biff
Here's the outcome of the event. Bottom of the thread.
You missed a great day. Except I got red like some others.
Where ever it may be... It's better on a Saturday for me. I now work on Sundays.
If you do pick a Sunday. I need over two weeks notice. So I can try to plan on going.
Thanks.
The Annapolis show will be on a Sunday - they always are.

If the event lasts until 4pm, I'll be there by 2pm. Don't have much time on Sundays anymore.
