IMHO...Danbury is THE highest quality, most detailed, of the two. They're a little bit higher priced, but for a dang good reason...they're that dam good!
I've voiced my opinion on Franklin Mint crap here many times. I quit buying anything from them when they refused to replace a t-top on an '80 car I bought that was broken(cracked) right out of the box. Their "solution" was for me to buy another car..
We started buying from Danbury after that, and the detail, and quality of the DM cars is just so much better to start with, it just don't make sense to fool with FM...for
me The only time I'll buy a FM car is when I see one at a swap meet, or antique store, for $30 or so...that's it.
Again, just my personal opinion.
