Seen those before, our local fire dept's have them for car crashes and things like tree's falling and pinning someone underneath.

My concern is while holding the tube near the exhust would you breathe in the fumes and even when done rolling up the balloon your brathing in the fumes too...      How about when done and in the bag.   Does the fumes go into the car while you are driving?      And would you want your vehicle to stay running while doing the tyre change?   Iron822008-08-03 09:22:48

I like the idea...........to keep the frame from getting marred, but I think that around the house to use compressed air, that would be the way to go.

I think out in the open air you would have no concern about intake of fumes, since its a gas type fume it should all leave the balloon once deflated. Looks like you lock the tube with a valve so you could shut the car off.

I have actually seen one of these and the do a great job. They are kinda the Toys R Us version of a emergency jack......

Then, on the other hand......

They are great for those who don't want to sit in a old dark garage for that last day on earth suicide attempt....
