We've all heard about Corvette barn finds...how about a multi-Ferrari barn find?

I know the guy that owns(owned?) those cars....he was a BIG time Ferrari guy, but he never actually drove his own! He worked on them for friends, but his real job was doing race engine machining, and building. He was/is a really talented, well respected feller in the drag race community around here. He mostly did repairs on the Ferraris as favors for rich folks...they had no problems paying for someone that had a direct line to Italy(Chinetti) for parts.
Now, to be honest, I haven't had any contact with him in years, but I was, at one time, going to go to work for him, but he wasn't willing to give up the Benjamins.
I remember always seeing all of the vintage(nothing new) Ferraris at his shop, and he kept the location of his personal "stash" secret, tho he did admit to having the cars that everyone was looking for. "F-em" he would say..."Let 'em keep looking....snoopy bastiges..."
He did have the Masi at the shop once....

Thinking back, I don't think he ever actually admitted to owning the cars...just that he had them...Wink
It's kewl that they will finally be going to someone(hopefully) that will take better car of them....
