Well I got to see the new Challenger last night at the Dairy Queen. They did a great job on that car, it was an orange one and looked good. Bad point's does not come with a standard trany, auto only. Last but the most important I have 55,000.00 reasons why not to get one $$$$$. doh

Yup...auto only, and depending on the engine, it has either the Chrysler pos trans, or the Mercedes trans...

One of those new Challenger SRT8's showed up at a local car show. Nice looking car. But they are kinda on the big side. It's a good thing they painted the bottom edge of the car black to take away from the slab sided look. I see they painted the 6.1L engine Hemi orange. Way cool! It was fairly quiet at idle , but had a nice exhaust note when he opened up going down the road.

If I was wealthy I have one in the garage. But not before having a new ZR1 of course. LOL

Ya and they said they were going to be reasonably priced Rolling%20On%20The%20Floor%20Laughing  I'd much rather buy a nice used C6, and I'd have a better chance at the tranny holding up Confused

My brother Phil and I went to the monthly Christian Classic Cruisers car show here tonight.  Again over 300 cars at the show (probably the largest monthly show in the DFW metroplex area).  Out of all the great cars there guess what had the largest crowd around it?  Yep a new orange Challenger.  It did look great but I agree that it was a little on the large side, especially when looking at it from the side.

I saw one today in the showroom at the Alan Web's Dodge in Vancouver, WA. It was Black, 6.1 Hemi, SRT, and sticker price was $41,000.00+. Sure was a nice looking car and yes it is a larger car but the original ones were pretty good sized cars. It was sitting next to a Black Viper SRT 10 with a sticker price of $88,000.00+. For that price I will wait and get something a bit classier, Like a used c6 or another c 3. I would personally not spend that kinda loot on one of these. They may look nice but not for that price.

I think the CHALLENGER R/T has been pretty nicely redone. It preserved quite a few lines of the old school protoge' and has the muscle to back it up.

Ford has done an equally nice job with their new MUSTANG GT

I sure was Chevy would step up to the plate and introduce the new CAMARO to compete with these new age "old school" muscle cars.....!
