I know there was another post (many posts) about this, but it looks like most of them are fairly aged.
So, gas has been below $2 a gallon for months here in Indy (after we thought we'd never see it under $3 a gal). Deisel had been above $2 for as long as I can remember, but about a week or two ago, it finally fell to $1.97 and this morning was down to $1.92. I don't use Deisel, but I pass a couple of truck stop gas stations on the way to work each day that always keep prices low.
Well, that was this morning. Gas was $1.82 on the way in, a few places down as low as $1.75. By late morning, almost everywhere was $2.05.
The price competitive Truck Stop stations were only at $1.98, but Deisel was still at $1.92. Deisel is now cheaper than Regular Gas for the first time since....???
I was lucky enough to find a grocery store still at $1.83, and with my $.10 discount, I got it for $1.73. But I'm not looking forward to spring prices now that I'll have the Vette out.
What's gas doing elsewhere?
