Well ,the gas war still rages on although some stations seem to be backing down a bit. THE LOWEST PRICE FOR REGULAR ,AT 3 LOCAL STATIONS IS 3.73-----tHE LOWEST PRICE WE HAVE SEEN IN THE LAST 3 WEEKS WAS 3.63. Man, what a shame to think 3.63 is a bargain. I hope all the oil speculators lose their tails on this stuff, rd

Yes you are lucky Rick, we filled up Pam's little Sky on McCord AFB yesterday at $4.19 a gal.
We were testing the limits of her fuel range on that new car. We parked for an Airshow on almost empty, planning to fuel up after the show. Well there was a chemical spill on I-5 and it took us almost three hours to get out of the parking lot. Driving out I thought we were going to run out of gas for sure. That little car made it to the gas station on base though. The 13 gal tank took 13.98 gals to fill at $55. Talk about riding on fumes

I hate to say this, but I paid $3.59 at Sam's Club on Saturday here in da frozen nort'....filled up all the vehicles, even the lawn mower gas can! No bargain, just a reduced price ...paid $4.09 for non-oxygenated 92 octane premium for the Corvette...had a wonderful cruise with my local Corvette club, Sunday...worth every penny.
