This is my Labor Day Weekend treat to me!!!  12 laps (twice, long story) at Texas Motor Speedway in a reel NASCAR racecar!!!

Stayin at the Sleep Inn across the highway from the track.  Can't wait!!!  Headin' down Saturday afternoon.  This is gonna be fun!

Details to follow.  I'd take the vette but the Mrs. just had surgery and with no A/C in the car, I figure she might be a bit put out at the 106 degree temps here and there...Oh well, she and the car will be headed to Eureka Springs with me the second weekend in October.

At speed, you don't really notice the angle, other than the optical factor of the infield being up/down, instead of horizontal.LOL    If yer just puttin around, you'll feel like yer gonna fall off the track! A high-angled banked track is a blast to drive on FAST...there is a certain speed on any high banking that allows you to drive all the way thru with NO input on the steering wheel...ya aim it coming in off the straightaway, and the car just turns itself. It's a kewl feeling.
You'll have a great time, other than the heat. It's s'posed to be cooler this weekend...only up to 99*....LOL

If it weren't our anny this weekend, we might slide out there an heckle ya!LOL

Dennis,
Do you get to drive your car or do you ride shotgun with a pro?
And how come twice?
