I'm averaging about 1,200 miles a year. Mostly cruise-ins or dry weather excuses for errand-running. You? Using it every 2 or 3 weeks has so far been enough to keep it healthy and starting without any external aids.

My '69 had 48k miles on it when I bought it nearly ten years ago.  Now it's got about 52k miles...so not that many miles per year.  Most of that was in the first few years...when you get 6mpg you pick and choose your drives carefully.

I bought my 1978 15 years ago and it had around 58,000 miles on it.  It was my daily driver for 4 years.  (Caution, do not take a C3 Christmas shopping.....bought something that was in a box too big for car.  I had to call my daughter to come help me.  I sat on the box in the parking lot for over an hour waiting for her to arrive.  After that, a lot of presents were bought at a jewerly store).  Odometer quit at 100,099.9.  It rolled to all zero's (so do I have a NO mileage car?).  I put a lot of miles on it for the first 4 years, then after that, just to car shows/cruise-ins, C3 gathering in Charleston, nashville for Corvettes 50th birthday party.  So to answer your question, if you take out the big trips.....about 400-500 miles per year.

I got my car with 84K miles on it, it now has 150K miles, comes out to about 7K miles a year.
I bought it to drive and enjoy it and I do!

I bought my '75 in June of this year. It had 71,000 miles on it. Just checked and we're at 74,128. We've taken it to lots of cruise nights/shows and on a few long drives. Will soon be putting it away for the winter; there was snow a couple of hundred miles north of us this weekend and temp was 36F this morning! It's supposed to be nice this week so hopefully a few more drives. I expect to put about 3000 miles on a year. Wife and I are debating joining the Corvette Caravan from Ontario that's going to Bowling Green in 2014; I'd like to do some supension/steering work before that.

Lots, I drive 70 miles round trip when I drive it to work which is about three days a week during the summer. Then I do the NCM trip for labor Day which adds about 1200 miles.

Next weekends morning coffee run will break 2k on the Silver Ann for this year.
Pace Car had 20,200 when I picked it up in June '09. Added just over 1,000 since then.

Bought our '78 Pace Car in March of 2006.  It had 161k on it.  Now it has 168k.  Think it averages out to 750 to 1000 mi per year.  We're about done running around for this season.

Take care

Ditto...!!!  LOL  LOL  LOL  LOL  LOL  LOL  LOL  LOL

For a variety of reasons "The Toy" hasn't left the garage for a couple years.  The odometer quit working on the way home from the 50th back in '03 so I have no clue how many miles are on it now.  Prior to "The Beast" and "BIGBRRD" arriving I was driving "The Toy" as much as I could between late March and early December.  But if smiles could be converted to miles I'd have to estimate somewhere around a million miles a year...!!!

The car had 8900 (not a typo) miles on it when I bought it back in 2006.  It's almost to 41,000 now, so that puts it at just over 5K per year during my ownership.

If you look at the other owners, that works out to about 280 miles a year.

For the life of the car, it's just under 1100 mi/yr

I briefly considered trying to keep the mileage really low, but

I BOUGHT IT TO DRIVE IT!!!!

We put about 1K miles on both the C3's per year. Most of the miles is weekly Cruise-in's and car shows. OH the Sunday evening trip to Ritter's for Ice Cream. Approve

being from northwest PA. it all depends on how early spring or winter arrive. This year I'm at 1051 miles and counting hopefully I get some more rides in and then I will put it in garage for the winter where I can work on the list I've made for winter fix up and being retired I enjoy that part of it too and it keeps me out of the wife's way.

Hi all.

For the past three years I've been putting around 2.5K miles per year.  The previous years in New England,
she was going for under 1.2K / year. Here in Arizona, I can drive her most of the year.  She sits for about
two months due to the Monsoon.  I did get caught out and about and had to drive through some minor washes while
they were running.  I have to get a second car to make the 44 mile round trip daily.  If I keep this up I'll
spike to 10K+ this year.

I have the Dodge RV that is comfy but, worse on gas.

Keith

6500 miles in 11 years = 591 miles/year.  But 2 or 3 of those years I was close to zero cause it just wasn't fun to drive.  And then two more years where it was zero since it didn't have a motor or front end.  I expect the miles/year number to climb much higher now that it's FUN TO DRIVE again.  Thumbs Up

Not many miles in the past few years.

The first few years I owned it I did around 1,500-2K. per year.
Now, poor health, teenaged kids and really expensive gas prices have it at a few hundred per year.
I recently did a road trip of about 3+ hours of driving- mostly highway. I paid $50.00 for the gas on that trip. Dead
No plans of getting rid of it, though. Things'll change and I'll drive it more in the future.

I've put about 4200 miles on the C6 since March.  The C3, maybe 100 miles this year and only bout 3000 in the 9 yrs I've had her.  Put 1200 of that on when we went to Hot Springs.  Just don't drive it much since we got the C6.

I am the original owner of my 1980 and it currently has 30,313 miles on it so you can do the math: about 950 / year.

The '64 had 59,794 when I bought it in April 2011.  It now has 60, 983.  That's 1189 in a
1 1/2 years.

Looks like Ceastham1 is literally running circles around the rest of us.

The history of my 1979 is 96,000 miles, so 2,900 miles avg a yr. Living in the South, I can use it pretty much yr round now but previous owner lived in CT. Limited use.

Hmmm that would require two answers - average & current as every year since I got her (2007) I have increased my yearly milage incrementally. LOL

54M when I got her & 69M on her now & it's been exactly 5 yrs. So average would be 3m/yr

Actual? 7M this past yr, 5M in 2011, 2M - 2010, 800 - 2009(afraid to drive her too much) & 200 - 2008 (mostly in the garage...lol)

What can I say...I love to drive her!

I have owned my 1980 since new.  When I parked it in 1992 the odometer showed 122xxx miles.

So about 10.2k per year. I drove the living crap out of that car and it showed at the end.  Worn out suspension, tires, and looks. Man I loved thrashing it, not this next time tho.

Since 1992 0 milesStill working on the frame off, it just seems to be a slow slog right now. Down to the doors, interior, windshield and paint left to go.

Someday my love someday. A song I heard.   I'll get r done.

Depends.
Every year is different.
Some years as little as 4K.
Some years up to 10K.
I think 2013 will be a record year.
Just turned 143K, but there is at least another 500 miles on her for broken speedo cables.
I love to drive her and we are heading out for a little rally with the local club this afternoon.
I hope the roads dry up by then.

I bought mine in Jan. 2010 with 86k miles. Drove it home 300 miles, then drove it to Corvettes at Carlisle in Summer 2010 and every day for about 6 months. (about 6,000 miles). Drove it once a week the following year, but it's been sitting unused this year - and now there are some issues I will attend to.
A rad leak and a current no-start due to suspected carb (I will be installing a numbers matching rebuilt Q-Jet I bought last year to replace the Holley 4360. I'm also going to have the a/c serviced as well which was not working when I bought it.
I missed driving the Corvette this year but I put all my available resources towards a 2k miles Cosworth Vega I had my eyes on since 2003, bought in August. It was photographed last month by Motor Trend and will be featured in Motor Trend Classic magazine  in the Spring 2013 issue.
I will attend the 2013 Corvettes at Carlisle event  I missed the last two years, and will be driving the Corvette again at least a couple of times a week.

I drive the 68 the most then the 73. Probable 4-6K between those 2. The 77 get the least as it's 99% original...maybe 500 miles per yr on the 77

My odometer is one of the things that I have not yet fixed.   According to that, nothing.Disapprove

According to my best guess  between 400 and 1500 miles depending on the year.

DANG, I need to get it out more!Wacko

I'm in the same ballpark as kstyer.  I only put on about 400 to 800 miles per year.

C3 not nearly enough, maybe 500 - 700 locally; C6 goes around 7K+ a year - fun road car. Which one do you figure the wife likes better?

Well. according to my Odo...second one mind you as the original 140MPH speedo died (still have it for future rebuilding). The car had 97,000 when my wife purchased it as a birthday gift for me.  the new odo says 74K...so lets see, I have been driving backwards for about 23K miles.....hmm....

In reality it has been about 2K per year on a good year. this last year wasn't so good and it only did about 500 - but it spent time getting new U joints, SS brakes, intake, 600CFM Holley, blueprinted distributor, chambered exhaust, KYB shocks....all of which really woke it up! the rest of my Corvette summer was running my 1986 Corvette in SCCA time trials and hillclimbs (3 events/3 wins).

Geez I love Corvettes.....any year, any type, any color....some are clearly more desirable than others, but the worst i have ever driven was magnificent.
