I learned that everyone who lives in Michigan thinks their hand is a map - even if you're just going 2 miles down the road

I learned the GM didn't design their brake light switches to be good for a lifetime (or even much more than 36 years), but Auto Zone does

I learned that when replacing a brake light switch, it can be easy to bump (and possibly disconnect) the speedometer cable

I learned that when taking a group picture with timer, you should put as much attention into what’s in the picture as you do getting the timer set and back into the picture

I learned that we have no idea what lay beyond this sign

I learned that there are some "crossing" signs that you want to slow down for more than others

I learned that jelly beans come in other sizes

I learned that windmill operators can “speak” with the blades

I learned that in 1904, Oldsmobile made a car that got 40 miles to the gallon!  What happened to them?

I learned that when a "momma" beech tree and a "papa" beech tree have offspring, they are called "sons of beeches"

I learned that Yenko also did conversions on Novas and Corvairs.  Really?

I already knew, but was repeatedly reminded what a great bunch of people you all are!  Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make this event a success!  As always, we had a great time.  Looking forward to the next one!

I learned that the Stanley (Steamer) Brothers sold their dry plate photography to George Eastman (Kodak).

I learned that electric cars were considered ladies cars.

I learned that 3 pounds of ribs can be eaten in one sitting, but not by me.

I learned that you don't want to sit in the last seat of a dune wagon. Ask Tux.

I learned that Lake Michigan has great sunsets.

I learned that the state park charges $8 to watch the sunset from your car. So I parked down the road and walked in.

I learned that My7T1 is for the birds. Just ask buggsy.

I learned that antifreeze dripping from the dampener is not necessarily coming from the water pump.

I learned when your radiator is only half full, you won't have a leaky upper radiator hose.

I learned that Manget1 can write notes real fast.

I had lots of fun with this great bunch of midwesterners. They know how to kickback and relax. And socialize, without texting.

And I would like to thank Dennis and Spencer for being our cruise sweep. We didn't get a chance to say good by to them Sunday morning. So guys, thanks for being there for us. See you again.

And I just posted some pictures on another post. Enjoy.

Okay, here's a few things I learned:

1. You can be blamed for plugging up the hotel toilet the next room over when sitting on your own. Even though the person the next room over has downed 3lbs. of ribs.

2. To become a licensed plumber all you need is a plunger.

3.Geen smiking nabij gebroken raam in Dutch when translated to English means, "No smoking near broken window."

4. Hollanders wear wore wooden shoes because of a leather shortage. I always thought it was to keep the woodpeckers away from their heads. ( Sorry Patty)

5. Wind up Dune Turkeys look real, but are a b__ch to clean.

6. Watch where you place your head when Marshall is lurking about with his camera.

7.Herr's are VERY generous people.

8. Only Michiganders know what this is:

9. If laughter is the best medicine, you will surely overdose when getting together with this gang.

Thanks my friends, I really needed this.Clap
