Momma's got to work that weekend, Ken, so I'll be down by myself...that is if my mechanic ever gets the car back to me before then!
That reminds me, I need to book a hotel room...preferably today.
See you there and I'll PM you later for a phone number just in case I have troubles on the way down.
Ken, sorry, please see my post on the other thread. I won't be able to make it to Cuyahoga Falls afterall. Sorry!!!!!
Mark me for 2 ken, can't wait for it. If you need any help please PM me.

There have been quite a few regional gatherings, mostly piggy-backed on other events but there have been some stand-alone ones as well.
Don't want to jinx it but - hope the weather is perfect for you out there! Enjoy the day...!!!

I don't see any posts commenting on how well or how badly the gathering went!
I feel bad I wasn't able to attend, but if Ohio got hit with the weather we did then maybe I'm glad I didn't drive all the way down to enjoy the day with members and get the Vette wet. (kidding)
Hope your cruise was a success, Ken!
Peace

Actually, Japan had smaller bombs at the end of WWII.
At one point I was expecting over 20 cars and folks. Several canceled a week or so before. A total of 4 actually called that morning and cancelled. At least they called but I already had bought stuff. Granted not all of these were C3VR folks. There were 6 locals non members that were coming as well.
The Totals? Three C3s, including mine, and a C5. There was me, Brintt77 and his Dad, Ron, and Captn Bill. The C5 belonged to my daughter Meg's friend's father, Art. I know Hank would have made it but he had 30 inches of water in his basement. Very good reason not to show.
Meg and two friends stayed at the pavallion and watched or stuff and had a good time when we went on the cruise. 4 cars left, 3 finished. I don't know what happened to Art in the C5. About 1/3 the way through the cruise he went the other way.
Bottom line, the few of us there, total of 3 members, did enjoy the cruise, and the cook out. We had a good time, dispite the few numbers.
With the cash outlay for the pavillion and the food I didn't need I wasted a lot of money. We could have went to McDonalds and then the cruise, and still had a good time.
I thank Brintt, his dad Ron, and Bill. I enjoyed their company, and they made the day worth every bit of trouble and cash. Thanks Guys.

Wow, bummer! I feel bad I wasn't able to make it. I'm not sure it should discourage you from doing it again, though. Perhaps if you plan it a little sooner next year and pick a weekend when C at C isn't happening you'll get a bigger turn out? Anyway, I hate to think all your time and effort (and your daughter's) went to heck like that, but at least you few had a good time.
I still hope to meet you in person someday, Ken! Sorry I couldn't make it happen this year. The vette is running good so hopefully she's gonna winter over well and I won't have to worry about making the trip.
