Corvette Hall of Fame Nominations Due

The Corvette Hall of Fame was created by the National Corvette Museum Board of Directors to confer the highest honor and recognition upon the most influential individuals in the history of the Corvette. The award recognizes those people who have made significant contributions to their respective fields, each having reached the highest level of accomplishment.

Nominations for the 2013 Corvette Hall of Fame will be accepted through August 31, 2012. Any NCM member can make nominations. Current Board members and NCM employees are not eligible to be nominated. Qualified nominations are good for three years. Nomination forms may be downloaded here or for more information contact Connie Russell at 270-467-8815.

"Build Your Own" 2013 GS Winner Drawn

Congrats to Robert Lewicki of Northville, MI with winning ticket #522 in today's drawing for a "Build Your Own" 2013 Grand Sport! We sold 1431 of the 1994 tickets.

In two weeks we raffle off a 2013 427 Convertible Corvette! The car features an Arctic White exterior with 60th Anniversary Design and Stripe Package, Blue Convertible Top and Diamond Blue Interior. It has the carbon fiber package, dual mode performance exhaust, 1SC package, short-throw 6-speed manual gearbox and more.The drawing is Friday, August 31 at 4pm CT. Tickets are $250 and the raffle is limited to 1,000 tickets.

Registration Open for Thunderhill

September 5-6 is the annual Corvette High Performance Driving Event at Thunderhill Raceway in Willows, CA.

September 5 includes a BBQ lunch followed by a scenic coastal mountain range drive with parade laps at the track. Anyone can register for just this day.

The Corvette Store will be busy this weekend with TWO shows!

Vettes on the Plains, Olathe, Kansas
August 18

The event will take place at The Great Mall of the Great Plains at I-35 exit 215 in Olathe. Registration is $30 from 8-11am. Judging begins at 11am and every car entered receives an award. The event is rain or shine and will have a silent auction, door prizes and 50/50.
