Looking for excitement and an opportunity to see the new C6R Factory Racing Team in action? Plan to attend the Grand Prix of Mosport (just outside of Toronto) August 28-30. Watch the leading sports cars test today's auto industry technology in a road circuit competition. The Corral provides an opportunity for owners of Corvettes to socialize with trackside hospitality services, a private grandstand and catering on Sunday. Aside from offering reserved parking for the participants' Corvettes, Corral ticket holders will enjoy many other amenities including race programs, lanyards and credential holders, and the opportunity to participate in parade laps around the circuit track on Sunday. In addition to being eligible for prize drawings, car corral participants can also interact with factory reps, racing personalities (i.e. auto industry engineers and designers) and the C6R Factory Racing drivers.

Barry Shockley from Lebanon, OH was the winner of the 2010 Grand Sport Convertible.  He had ticket number 306.  We sold 370 of the 500 tickets.

Barry has never owned a Corvette before but has always looked at them and thought about buying one.  This will be his first Corvette and he is thrilled to be the winner.  He said, "Finally!  I have entered the Corvette raffles 6 or 7 times, and I finally won!  This is great news!  You have made my day!"  Barry said he didn?t win the Powerball jackpot, but when he got the email that we still had not sold that many tickets, he decided to buy one.

Johnny O'Connell and Jan Magnussen scored their second podium finish in the second American Le Mans race for Corvette Racing's new GT2 cars. In this exciting battle against Ferrari, Porsche, Viper, and Ford, the #3 Corvette came in just behind the BMWs to take 3rd place at Road America on August 16th. Last minute details are being finalized and the NCM is just about ready to welcome our National Corvette Caravan and 15th Anniversary friends!  Many of you will begin this exciting journey in a few days.  Help us get the word out about your Museum, through your local media contacts!  Invite your local TV stations and newspapers to cover your unique adventure either before or after your trip.  The Caravan makes for a great story and helps spread the word and promote the National Corvette Museum.  And of course, shows your friends that you are part of a very special group that likes to have fun!
