One Acre Club Spotlight: Ed and Dee Snell

Known for their good nature, volunteering spirit, and generosity with both their time and resources, you can easily spot this couple in a crowd by finding Ed’s trademark welder’s hat.

Their love for the National Corvette Museum makes them as much a part of it as the bricks and mortar that it is made of so it was no surprise when they joined the One Acre Club. What is a surprise though, is that they really don’t have any intention of using the track themselves when it is built!

“I’ve been to Spring Mountain and enjoyed it, but I don’t really have any desire to do it again at this point. Still, we jumped in to help because this needs to get done. It is a good thing for the Museum. It will bring people in from all over the country and get them connected with the Museum too. There are a lot of people who enjoy this type of driving, and others in the future who will get introduced to high performance driving because of it. When you add in what it can do for teen driver safety, this is a project that is worth supporting whether you plan to use it or not.”
