The Corvette Celebration is approximately three weeks away and pre-registration will be closing in nine days! As part of the event festivities we will be offering guided tours of the new expansion area.

See the “behind the scenes” side of the new expansion and hear NCM Facilities Manager, Bob Hellmann detail the new avenues of the building construction. Tours are scheduled for Saturday and we look forward to sharing the excitement with everyone. If you are waiting to pre-register we invite you to join in before the August 15 deadline arrives. $10 Corvette Raffle Countdown is On

Drawing a winner of a new Corvette is a regular part of the Corvette Celebration and the countdown is on! Tickets are only $10 each for a chance to win a 2009 Victory Red Coupe and our winner need not be present to win. The drawing will take place on Saturday evening at 7:00 p.m. CT as part of the live entertainment finale in the Museum’s Amphitheater.

The winner will be contacted by phone immediately following the drawing and we will arrange a time for the winner to visit the Museum to take delivery and enjoy a VIP tour of the Museum and Plant, hands-on introduction, photo op and more. Make your bid on a black Ressler ZR1 T-shirt Men's Size M made specially to commemorate the first 2009 ZR1 (VIN 001). Dave Ressler purchased the car with his $1 million bid at Barrett-Jackson and took National Corvette Museum Delivery.

We have obtained a limited number of original Corvette build sheets from the Corvette Assembly Plant and this collectible piece of memorabilia can be another way todocument your Corvette.

We have random build sheets on Corvettes produced from 2002-2007 that are “not” reproduction copies. Many are marked, tattered and worn from the journey through the build process. Build sheets are available at $40 for NCM members and $50 for non members. The polls have closed and the votes have been tabulated. By a three-to-one margin, Corvette Racing's drivers have acclaimed the “Kink” to be the greatest corner on the classic Road America circuit. The drivers will put it to the test on this challenging road course in Saturday's four-hour Generac 500 at Road America, the seventh round of the American Le Mans Series.

The Generac 500 may have to share with the bicycle match race of the year for top billing at Road America. Corvette Racing program manager Doug Fehan has challenged driver Oliver Gavin to a one-lap sprint around the circuit to raise funds for the Tour de Road America Bike Ride to Fight Cancer. The race will take place on Friday, Aug. 8, at 7:15 p.m. Fans can show their support for Fehan or Gavin by pledging donations to the Lance Armstrong Foundation online.
