Many of you give something to the Museum that cannot be bought... the gift of your time. We will periodically spotlight some of our faithful volunteers - so if you see them at our events helping out, please help share your thanks!
Jack and Nancy Richter, Lifetime Members from Mt. Pleasant, PA are familiar faces at NCM... so much so that they've been house hunting in the area so that they can come volunteer more often!
"Not only are the Richters wonderful volunteers for the Museum, they also serve as Ambassadors, and even give donations of auction items to benefit the Museum," said Stephanie Morrill, Membership Manager. "They have giving hearts. On this particular trip down, they wanted to do something for the staff at the hotel they stay with, so they are purchasing admission tickets to the Museum for them, and providing wraps and cookies from the Cafe for a lunch."
The Richters are humble about their service. "It's the people... the friends we've made throughout the years. Just because we own a Corvette doesn't mean we are on the up and up. It's what we enjoy," Jack said. "You walk in and the people acknowledge you and appreciate anything you do, that's what makes you keep coming," Nancy added. "You do what you enjoy and this is what we enjoy."
