In an effort to further driver's educational programming at the National Corvette Museum, State Farm has awarded the Museum with a 2014 Grant. The Museum plans to utilize the $14,000 grant to help furnish classrooms, purchase necessary technology and provide a golf cart for teen driving courses and other driver's education classes to be held at the new NCM Motorsports Park.
State Farm provides grants in three areas: safety, community development and education. The National Corvette Museum provides numerous courses that contribute to teen driver education, auto and roadway safety, which are all values that State Farm grants are designed for.
“State Farm knows that vehicle crashes are a leading cause of injury and death for young people,” said Patrick Warren, Vice President of Agency/Sales for State Farm. “That’s why we promote programs like Celebrate My Drive. We are committed to keeping young drivers safe and are pleased to support the efforts of the National Corvette Museum.”
