It may be the dead of winter but progress continues to be made at the NCM Motorsports Park. Scotty's Contracting and Stone finished rough grading the track just before Christmas, and the ground will be left to settle over the winter. The road base will go down in the spring and paving is scheduled to start late spring.

This project is so exciting it caught the attention of CNN and was named a "50 States, 50 Spots for 2014" - representing Kentucky. Check out the list online here. We are Slide #17.

If you are interested in having an event at the track, now is the time to book! We are already locking in dates for fall 2014 and 2015 with contracts going out later this month for those who have booked events already. There are 110 days reserved on our calendar thus far!

Our High Performance Driving Event program kicks-off in 2014 with a two-day event at Sebring International Raceway. Participants will get to run the same road as the ALMS teams, with three student run groups, an Instruction group and special touring laps - perfect for convertibles and/or drivers that don't want to participate in the full school.

As with our other HPD events, we expect to have a number of VIP drivers available including Andy Pilgrim and John Heinricy, plus interesting classroom discussions with our crew of GM engineers and designers.

The event is slated for April 14-15, 2014. Cost is $485 for members, $525 for non-members (including a discounted one-year Museum membership). Touring Lap registration is $120 for a one-day, 3 session activity. Learn more and sign up online here.

Becky Madison (Pictured here with Country Music star Kix Brooks) has joined the Membership Department as Coordinator, and will also provide customer service for the bench and brick programs. Becky is a 2003 graduate of Western Kentucky University, and has worked in the tourism industry as a cave guide at Lost River Cave. What began as a part-time job at the cave quickly grew into her first full-time job.

Becky became a member of the NCM team in 2012 in the Admissions Department and has worked many car shows for the Corvette Store.

“I’ve enjoyed the past year getting to know the folks here and meeting the visitors who travel to see this special place for ‘all things Corvette’! Even though I don’t own a Corvette yet, my dream Corvette would be a 1981 built in Bowling Green,” (the year Becky was born).

Corvette Racing will take to the track January 23-26 at the Rolex 24 at Daytona. Chevrolet is sponsoring a Corvette Corral, and tickets are now available through the Daytona International Speedway by phone at 1-877-306-RACE or online here.

Two-person VIP packages are available and include:
