Congratulations Victory Red Raffle Winner!

Congratulations to Edward Burnett of Tacoma, WA drawn yesterday as the winner of the 2009 Victory Red Coupe raffle! Ed has a 2008 Z06 and was here at the Museum for the 1999 Caravan and is looking forward to hopefully being a part of the 09 Caravan festivities. This was a great raffle fundraiser for us and we greatly appreciate everyone that purchased a ticket to help!

Each quarter in 2009, we will feature a different NCM Member’s Corvette to be the highlighted exhibit in our front turntable. Now through March, our turntable showcases our first quarter display of a 1966 Corvette owned by Lifetime members Ben and Marybeth Whitacre.

Expansion Update - Pictures Say It All!

We are excited to announce that many departments of the Museum will be moving into their new homes within the expansion area in the next few weeks! Team members of the Corvette Store, Library and Archive and PDI area are packing up and preparing to move starting in early February. Other areas of the new addition are receiving glass fronts, final coats of paint, light fixtures and other finishing touches. Event participants who make it to this year’s Bash event April 23-25 can catch a sneak preview of many of the new addition areas prior to the final project completion scheduled for the 15th Anniversary/4th National Corvette Caravan - Labor Day weekend 2009.  

The progress is moving along so quickly and the dramatic changes are visible from one day to the next. Our January Calendar wallpaper is up and ready for you to download in six screen sizes “free”. This month’s wallpaper is an image sent in by NCM member Eric Wollenberg. If you have an image of your Corvette in a unique setting, send it in for consideration to be used in a future NCM wallpaper design.

Images will be considered based on quality and style. Corvette images only/no models included in the photo please.
