This month’s calendar wallpaper is a colorful photograph of a 2007 Atomic Orange Vette sent in by NCM Member, Gary Spurlock. This computer wallpaper is available in six screen resolutions and can be downloaded free.

If you have an image of your Corvette in a unique setting, send it in for consideration to be used in a future NCM wallpaper design. Please email digital images in jpg or tiff format at least 2000 x 1333 pixels to webmaster@corvettemuseum.org
Images will be considered based on quality and style. Corvette images only/no individuals included in the photo please.

Feel the Thrill of Thunderhill

We are excited to be expanding our High Performance Driving event outreach by offering a “Hooked on Driving” partnership taking place at Thunderhill Raceway in Willows, CA – July 29-31. This will be the first of what should be a broad Western expansion of our HPDE program and we are excited about the addition of having this challenging track and facility to add to our schedule. This event is even more unique with an optional road tour incorporated into the event prior to registration check-in at the track on July 29th.

Thursday and Friday will feature our full two-day school and student coaching will be provided by HOD and NCM Instructors.  Kirk Bennion, Corvette Exterior Design Manager and part time racer, will be on hand to answer your Corvette questions and provide advanced instruction. I want to take this time to thank each and every one of you for all of the support and friendship you have offered to me over the past 14 years. My husband has been relocated to Tucson, AZ and I will be joining him to share new adventures. I have enjoyed communicating with each of you and appreciate the chances I have had to meet and share time with you. The supporters/members and friends of the Museum are truly one of the best parts of being an NCM Team Member. I will miss you all.

Katie Frassinelli will be taking over as the Marketing / Communications Manager for the Museum. Katie and her husband are lifetime members of the Museum, and she has networked with us for several years during her tenure at the Bowling Green/Warren County Convention and Visitors Bureau. Katie is very excited to be a part of the NCM Team and I know you will make her transition a warm one. Thanks again for your kindness and friendship – perhaps our paths will cross again.
