The International Council of Corvette Clubs (ICCC) is holding their annual convention in Bowling Green, Kentucky this week. Wednesday they visited the National Corvette Museum and made it the site for their car show. Beautiful Corvettes filled the circle and truck lot making it a feast for the eyes.
ICCC President, Wil Cooksey, was pleased with the turnout. "The ICCC is a club that is comprised of other clubs, similar to the NCCC. We’ve been around for over 25 years. Our primary interest is to get together and enjoy activities focused around the car. Earlier we learned line dancing at the UAW Hall. That was a new thing that everyone seemed to really enjoy. We’ve got a bowling night on the agenda, a club version of Family Feud, a car push competition, road tours, dominoes, drag racing at Beech Bend Raceway, an Awards Banquet, and today we’re here at the Museum for our car show. The members are really enjoying the Museum and hopefully they will want to go to the amusement park and enjoy some of the other fun things that Bowling Green has to offer while they are here. We’ve got people coming from Texas, Florida, Chicago, Colorado, Delaware, Tennessee, Mississippi, Missouri, Georgia…all over the country. As the word spreads and people find out what we’re about, they want to join in the fun.”
