Corvette Celebration Update

Our Corvette Celebration is just around the corner and there are 16 days left to pre-register for the fun! We have over 300 people with reserved seats for the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony honoring racing legends, Allan and Don Barker, Corvette Right-click%20here%20to%20download%20pictures.%20To%20help%20protect%20your%20privacy,%20Outlook%20prevented%20automatic%20download%20of%20this%20picture%20from%20the%20Internet.%20engineering super tuner, Reeves Callaway and early Corvette designer, Maurice Olley. Tomorrow (Friday, August 1) is the last day to contact us to reserve a corporate table for your club or friends (10 seats per table) and have recognition in the printed Hall of Fame program, commemorative glasses at each setting and reserved seating. Please contact Adam Boca at: adam@corvettemuseum.org to reserve this special seating.

Special displays are another great reason to be a part of the event and this year we are thrilled to have Paul Smith and his 1998 Corvette recently tagged as the overall winner on Speed TV’s “Pinks All Out” series that took place in May. Guests in attendance can see and photograph this extraordinary Corvette and take part in a presentation hosted by Paul to hear the exciting story behind the Corvette’s win. You can watch the episode featuring this special Corvette on Thursday, August 7 at 9:00 p.m. ET and see it here during the event!

We look forward to welcoming our media friends from Corvette Enthusiast, Vette Magazine and Corvette Quarterly to this year’s event. Show and shine – you never know whose camera is catching a shot during the festivities.

Only a few spots are left on the Lincoln Heritage road tour so be sure to add this activity to your registration if you enjoy history and road trip excursions behind the wheel of your Corvette! Remember that all NCM Lifetime members are admitted “free” to on-site activities and the VIP/Lifetime dinner but must pre-register for the event. We look forward to seeing you soon. Find out more and sign up online here.

The excitement for our raffle winners doesn’t end after the call is made - it continues through until the day they take delivery at the Museum. Phillip Hall was drawn on June 24 as the winner of the 2008 Limited Edition 427 Corvette and was still smiling as he drove away in his new Corvette he took a chance on as part a 500 limited ticket raffle.

You can be the next winner for only $10 per ticket on a chance to win a 2009 Victory Red Coupe! Our winner will be drawn in approximately four weeks as part of the Corvette Celebration on Saturday, August 30. The winner need not be present to win. Corvettes at Carlisle - We Hope to See You There

The Corvette family has a reunion every year at the Carlisle, PA Fairgrounds. Held annually, Corvettes at Carlisle is a Mecca for owners of all generations of Corvette and a great place to see and hear all of the spectacular examples of Corvettes. If you have not attended this family affair you must see for yourself what the excitement is allabout.

There are opportunities to meet with GM engineers and special guests, shop the hundreds of manufacturers and vendors, and stroll the “fun field” packed with over 2,600 Corvettes! One of the most recognized aspects to the show is the world’s largest annual automotive parade that takes participants out of the Carlisle Fairgrounds to historic downtown Carlisle and park “four wide” for the evening. Register your Corvette online and save $10 by pre-registering online here.

Team members from the NCM will be in attendance with a booth and the latest in Corvette Store merchandise. If you would like to volunteer to help us during the event, August 21-24, contact Roc Linkov at: roc@corvettemuseum.org
