Last week, Corvette friend and retired Assembly Plant Manager, Wil Cooksey was injured while riding his motorcycle with friends during the Corvette Forum weekend festivities.

The steering on his motorcycle locked up and resulted in a broken leg and some bruises for Wil, who is at home and recovering well. Wil’s bike was destroyed but we are thankful that he is safe and recuperating.  If you would like to share a get well wish card to Wil we will be happy to make sure he receives them. Join Us in Texas For A Garage Tour Adventure

We are thrilled to be joining friends in the Arlington, Texas area for the “NCM Garage Tour Texas”! If you live in or around Arlington we invite you to join us for a garage tour and viewing of Corvette Collections from Indy 500 Champion, Johnny Rutherford, Corvette Enthusiast’s Tony and Maureen Parella, as well as New York Times Best Selling Author, Sandra Brown.

The cost to participate is $150 per person, which will be considered a tax-deductible donation to the NCM. Only 60 participants will be eligible to participate and space will fill quickly. We appreciate the generosity of these Corvette friends who are willing to support the NCM by showcasing their “Corvette Lifestyle” to help the Museum. Please RSVP by 3:00 p.m. CT on Monday, June 1 to Connie Russell at (800) 538-3883 – extension 115.

It is hard to believe, but we are only three months away from celebrating our 15th Anniversary! There are approximately 4,500 people pre-registered for the 4th National Corvette Caravan planned to kick off the event fun which will culminate in a host of festivities taking place at the NCM!

Registration is required for both the caravan and the Corvette Celebration and you can signup online for both here.

We are continuously updating the online agenda to provide you the latest on new road tours being added, special guests coming to join us and fun things to do and see while in “Corvette Country”! Last week we announced the winners of our “First and Last” Display and we are still needing to fill a few slots for this special exhibit. If you have a 1953, 1963 or a 1984 Corvette and would like to display it for a while at the event, please contact our events department team at: events@corvettemuseum.org We hope you can join us for our grand reopening September 3-6 and relive old memories and make new ones with us.
