  After E. Pierce Marshall became the first to start the FIVE Acre Club, Donald Ghareeb was impressed by that level of commitment and chose to do it as well.  “Marshall broke some good territory,” Don said. He’s hoping that others with the means will be inspired to make the same commitment.
Don’s love for Corvette goes back several years. “I got my first Corvette in 1964, my second in 1997 and currently have five, so I’ve been a Corvette guy for a long time. The Museum has done a terrific job at getting the marque out there and representing it in a positive way. I’ve taken three Museum deliveries and I think that having a Motorsports Park at the Museum is a terrific idea. It’s something I’m interested in and since I’m in a position to help I don’t mind doing it.”
Museum Executive Director Wendell Strode is grateful for the support and is hoping that even more will see the vision and participate as Don and so many others have done. “In order to begin construction of the West Track in the first phase, we need all of the help that we can get before June 1. Corvette enthusiasts have really rallied to help in the $1 million dollar challenge with their donations and commitments taking us to the $763,000 mark.  As we get closer to the 60th Anniversary Celebration of Corvette, what could be a more fitting exhibit than the Marque of Excellence Corvette Exhibit running from May 11-September 13, 2013. This 14 car exhibit features Corvettes that have earned NCRS Top Flight and Bloomington Gold honors, making each of them a beautiful example of Corvette history. 

 How would your Corvette club like to be featured on a banner in the Museum's parking lot? Each summer the banners are changed out and your club can be on a new banner for $350. Clubs get to keep their banner after 1 year.

Banners are reserved on a first come, first serve basis and all banners will be installed in August. Reservations are only made when we receive your check for $350 accompanied by our banner reservation form.

 Corvette 60th Anniversary Celebration:
The agenda for the Corvette 60th Anniversary event at the Museum is now available on our website.  This event is free to Museum members and costs only the price of Museum admission for non-members.  Featured activities include up-close access to the new "C7" Corvettes that will be on display as well as attendance at the NCM Motorsports Park groundbreaking event with Doug Fehan, Corvette Racing Program Manager.
