Motorsports Park Track Designer Announced
 The National Corvette Museum has selected a track designer for the future NCM Motorsports Park. Steve Crawford, an architect and planner in the Seattle area, is no stranger to track designs. His first track opened in Colorado nearly 40 years ago, while his recent design work includes The Ridge Motorsports Park in Shelton, WA and Thunderhill Motorsports Park in Willows, CA.
"We are excited to begin working with Steve, but fundraising is still the top priority for us," Executive Director Wendell Strode said. "To date, we've raised nearly $1 million through our 'One Acre Club' campaign, but we still have a long way to go. Every little bit helps make this dream a reality."

High Performance Driving Event Coming to Chicago Area
 Join us for our 3rd annual High Performance Driving Experience with Hooked on Driving at the beautiful Autobahn Country Club in Joliet IL on Monday, October 1st. We will be utilizing the full track, a total of 3.56 miles of pure driving enjoyment. This is your chance to bring your American icon to the track.
Experience more of your car’s capabilities in a safer, yet fun, learning environment. Engineers and designers from the Corvette Team at General Motors will again be on hand to coach and talk to participants. Spectators are welcome and (spectator) rides with coaches will be available.

2013 Black Convertible Corvette Winner Drawn
 Congrats to Joy Wade of Birmingham, AL! Joy's lucky ticket #1297 was drawn in our September 1 raffle for a 2013 Triple Black Convertible!
Next week we will be giving away a "Build Your Own" Z06 or Grand Sport! This raffle gives the winner the option to pick and choose the color and options of a 2013 Corvette or take the $60,000 cash option. Tickets are $150 and the raffle is limited to 1500 tickets. The drawing will be held at 2pm on Thursday, September 13.

 Our friends at Bondurant are hosting a two-day event December 7-9 that you won't want to miss. Limited to 200 cars, the weekend includes a reception, instruction, track time including auto cross, drag strip, ground school and hot laps, great food and an awards ceremony.
The event is hosted by Johnny O'Connell and special guests include Bob Bondurant, Darren Law, Doug Fehan and others. The cost is $250 for two days of driving activities and entrance to the Show & Shine Competition for 1 car (two people), plus dinner Saturday at the track. Hot Laps are $25.
