Lots of Corvette winners this weekend!!

Joshua Guiles won the Build Your Own Coupe or Convertible.  Ticket number 333.  Josh, his Dad and his uncle have been restoring a 1965 Corvette.  He has never had a newer Corvette, but has wanted one.  He has never been to the Museum before, but is looking forward to getting a new one and picking it up at the Museum.

Jo Ann Barretto won the Torch Red Convertible.  Ticket number 14144.  She was in the store during the drawing.  As Wendell played with the crowd and narrowed down to the street address, her husband came up thinking he was the winner.  Wendell informed him that he did not win….his wife did!  Louie and Jo Ann have twin 2007 Monterey Red convertibles.  Hers only has 500 miles on it.  He said he does plan to keep this one also, since he has two sons.

Steve Hofmann won the Arctic White 15^th Anniversary Grand Sport.  Ticket number 1999.  Steve and his wife Kelly have been long-time supporters of the Museum and especially supportive of the staff.  We unveiled two benches in honor of the NCM staff on Tuesday afternoon that were paid for by the Hofmanns.  Your name is now engraved on a bench in our Corvette Courtyard!  They have a history of paying for staff lunches occasionally and have recognized the staff with a large brick out front on other occasions.  Steve has also purchased a LOT of raffle tickets over the years.  He calls regularly to tell Angela and Christy that it would be nice if we would at least call him to say Hi after the drawings.
