If you want to take a tour of the plant you need to make a reservation through the plant's website: http://www.bowlinggreenassemblyplant.com/

I just reserved a slot on the Thursday morning 9 o'clock tour. They only take 20 to 25 people per tour and there are only three scheduled public tours per day (9:00, 11:30, & 1:15). Cost is $5 per person paid via credit card when making the reservation.

So it you want to tour the plant during the caravan DO IT NOW...!!!

OK, so after I tell Jim (StingrayJim) that we won't be there, the wife says she thought we were still going even though 71Shark and Fireboss chickened out.

Go figure. So we took two of the spots for 9am Thurs.

Now if I can just find the number Jim gave me for the hotel, and figure out how to do rear bearings, and get the new tranny in...

Sure am Clint, just can't make the tour. Our (Indiana) group leaves from the Indianapolis Speedway Thursday morning. So Lora and I, Butch and Jane, and Tom and Marilyn (aka Karen) won't be arriving until after the tours departure time.

Looking forward to seeing you and Hunter. I bet he is very excited to be making this trip with ol' dad as a driver!

I plan to be in the Caravan Sept 1-2 and also at the NCM. Our Corvette Club, Badger State Vetts LTD was chosen to have its banner flown at the MCM for a year. If I knew how to insert our banner here, I would. See you at the NCM or Effingham !

I was too late. All the morning tours are full. Bummer.

That's OK. I have been on the tour 2-3 times already.

Now I can sleep in on Thursday.
