I'm kinda skeered to change my cleaning/polish/waxing products...I tried some different stuff once before a couple of years back....wound up having to almost do a wet sand to get the crap off the paint!
So...what do you use, and how does it do? Now I'm curious!

I've used the Adam's detailing spray, and it works really well. I plan on purchasing their clay-bar; I'll let you know how it goes.

I too know of others with mostly show cars that swear by the Adams products. I have not tried them yet - but may.

I use all Adam's products and really like them! Always had really good service with them also. Their Detail Spray aka (Pepto BismolLOL) can be used on almost anything thing.  All their products seem to be easy on, easy off!

I also have been using Adam's products which include the Detail Spray; Under Carriage Spray; Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner and Glass Cleaner.  Matter of fact, I buy the gallon container for the Detail Spray because I use it on my 300C also.  Never had any problems with them since using them for 2 seasons.  I use the Under Carriage Spray to detail anything black under the hood and use it for the wheel wells.

Several of the show crowd around here use the Adam's products. One guy told me that the clay bar and detail spray work wonders on older, tired paint. I am thinking about giving it a try.

All the best products seem to have there cult, if your happy with the results you seem to stick with that product.
Tux turned me on to Zaino Brothers and I was hooked. My one vette being white is so reflective is so hard to get depth. This zaino system did it for me. Not sure how you apply the Adams but the Zaino product is put on front to back on the top surfaces, and up and down on the sides. The make up of the wax is made to react to this with the reflection factor.
I either gave away or threw out every thing else (Collonite is made in my town).
Now my daily drivers are getting the Zaino daily driver wax.
What really sold me besides the faith in brother Tux was the customer photos on their site. If ya get a chance check them out you'll have to look real hard to figure out what part of the car the picture is takin of as the reflection is like a mirror.

John, I bought the show car kit with clay bar, did exactly like they said in instructions. I did it all by hand. Took a few nights after dinner. It's surprising how little product you use. Dollar for dollar I thinks it's cheaper than the Meguires Gold I was using.
Once you get the hang of it you can put a coat of wax on and hand buff it of in 20 minutes.
A few notes to mention, this stuff is so reflective it will show every thing. I have had the white vette for 25 years and once I applyed this system I thought it had gone thru a auto car wash for 20 years. They warn you of this and have a filler polish you use to remove those swirl marks. I have 8 or 10 coats on right now and let me tell you it is slippery. I laughed out loud and called Tux a name the first time I washed the car after using Zaino. I wet it down and made a swipe with my mit and the darn soapy water flew off the car faster than I could wipe it. Sounds nuts and it is.

This whole Zaino thing started when I complained about a front end bra leaving marks on my finish, Tux told me "Young Master Ebo u are usin the wrong wax"
As I've learned from these All Wise Master's what they say is sound advice for "GrassHoppers" like me.
Now I can no longer use anything but Zaino on my vehicles.......man I should be gettin a kick back out ov dem Zaino Brooders in Jurzy LOL

John, that's the kit I started with.
Wash it with Dawn as they say. When you clay bar kep it real wet. I got a spray bottle and mixed up the car wash solution like instructed.
Keep the surface real wet and turn the clay over a lot. Nead it often if it's dirty. Do not let it slip out of your hand and drop on the floor. If you do and it get's grit in it is done.
Watch your local sales at the high end dept. stores for white cotton towels the fluffyier the better. I got big bath towels on sale at Kohls. Zaino wants you to find made in USA cotton but sad to say I could find none.
Get them home and tear or cut them in about 12 inch wide pieces across the short way. Then buy a clear tote to store them in your man area, so your wife does not use them to dust with.
when you put the sealer additive mix together use it sparingly like they say. With that ounce or so I did my car twice and stil had some left. With this stuff less is more. Then get a few coats on her and stand back, 3 coats should blind you with your Blue color. Once you get a feel for it, it's real easy.
Oh yeah I done bought that bucket with the grit thingy in the bottom also.
It's perfect to sit your butt on when doing the sides.
If you run into any problems PM me and I'll get you my phone number.
Your guna love this stuff, and that Blue is guna look like wet deep water.
Enjoy it. Evil%20Smile

[/QUOTE] Scott my car had very little sun exposure and only 14K on it and I used the clay bar, did not see much on the clay but I think if your going to use any show car system and don't clay then it's like takin a shower with your clothes on. ebo2008-10-28 18:40:22

Todd (767REP) got some Adams stuff at one of the cruise-ins we went to. They have a truck that sells all kinds of stuff and sets up a nice display. I think they were at all of the www.streetrodadventures.com shows and in the Portland / Vancouver area.

Like Tux, I too am a Zaino guy.  The painter that did my car said to only use is and I love it.  After several coats, you have to be prepared for just how slippery it is and how little product you actually have to use.

Great stuff.  Seems to be the stuff of choice by several of the guys in the local Vette club and also the MG and Street Rod set.
