I know I'm comin' from the South up to Ohio, so I'm in the right Forum (hopefully).  For all you folks in or around Ohio.........Ken & I were thinking of a "C3 Get Together".  I will be in Kentucky, Saturday, June 30th and will meet up with StingRay Jim in Bowling Green.  Then, on July 1st we will be on the way to Columbus, Ohio.  I thought we could do a gathering at a Park (Ken is looking into this).  I can buy the meat for the cook-out, some beer, wine.  Can't make potato salad cuz I'm leaving my fridge at my house in Texas....

Shoot and Dag-Nab-It!  No, I can't bring the GreyPoop-on.  She has to stay.  Gettin' new bushings all the way around and she won't be ready in time.  I wanted to, so I could get a picture of her in front of the NCM (one of my goals with her).  We have to travel in the "Good Time" Ford Van with dogs.

I'm looking for an area around Akron for the cookout.  A bit north of Columbus, but south of Cleveland.  I should know something in another day or two.  I will try to find a place for a fairly large group, and perhaps on a Friday night?  It will be hard to get a place for a weekend, but I may find something. kstyer2007-06-26 18:14:15

From 71, go north or south to the 209 mile marker.  Take 76 east into Akron, and then Rt8 north into Cuyahoga Falls.   Exit at Broad Blvd and turn right.  At the first street, turn left.  Go a couple of miles to Waterworks Park on the left, and turn in.   Go past the swimming park, and under the railroad bridge and just look for us.

Tenatively I plan on attending, I will know after this weekend. It looks like your about 5 hours from me so I would be leaving Thursday morning in the wee hours in order to arrive in time.

I'm not sure Mrs Tux will be along. She has carpal tunnel surgery in the morning. This was the reason we didn't go to Carson City. It has been rescheduled twice but now appears as though it is all systems go.
We are under the impression she will be fine. (Cept she won't be able ta smack me around wit dat right arm fer awhile)
If all goez well we are gonna take a trial spin to French Lick (be kind) to the newly remodeled Hotel & Casino Sunday morning. If she weather that fine then the trip is on fer next friday. If she doesn't fair to well I will still be sailing along either solo or with an alternate companion.
Now y'all know an my cardz er on da table. I'll shoot ya a PM here ina few minutez.....

GREAT, we will be there early.  It's a 3 hour drive for us from where we are in Columbus.  Ken said there is a Sams Club 3 miles from where we will be at the park, so I'll get a head count and then take off to Sams.....or we could bring the dogs and cook a couple of Chihuahua's and one French Bull dog...... greypoupon692007-07-04 16:23:15

Yep, it's Ken's car........and she sounds bad a$$ good!   He "punched the peddle" a little when we were behind him leaving.  He didn't even get it to 2nd gear and that puppy was throwing dirt behind the wheels!  Go Ken GO!!!

Bill seemed to be doin just fine. He is a modest man though. His car is gorgeous and he was nitpickin on the paint. It may not be perfect but that metalic blue shore do ketch yer eye. An oh do it sparkle & shine in the sun!
