The members of Keystone State Corvette Club (KSCC) will be coming back to my place (about 15 minutes away - right on Route 73 about 8 miles East of Boyertown) after Corvettes For Kids for beer and burgers. ANYONE from C3VR is welcome to stop in, shoot the breeze and have some food. I'll have some maps at the show ... look for me ... red '68 convertible with a C3VR window sticker on the passenger side and VEGAS 98 tags on the front. Jimmy |cheers| |wavey| |thumb|

I'll be there! You won't miss me... a giant C3 Vette Registry banner hung on the side of my Vette!

What's a good time to get there?
How many Vettes usually show up?

See ya there!

Adam - The Corvettes For Kids show starts at 10:00 AM and runs until 3:00 PM - they usually have about 150 or so cars - around the time the show ends we will head back to my place - I expect between 5 to 8 KSCC cars + whoever else from C3VR wants to stop in. See you then. P.S. : what's up for the next Hooters night ???? It's only a week away. Jimmy |cheers| |bouncy|

O.K. Who showed up and where are the pics ?
I couldn't make it this year due to unexpected family matters, but would like to hear about how it went.
Adam, How did you make out ? Can you give us any details on the two shows that you attended ?
Thanks
Joe V.

Well, there was about 15 of us back at Jim's place. It was a good time, and he had plenty of food and beer for all!
As far as pictures... I don't think anyone took any, but a picture of his lawn on fire would have been a keeper!! You know what they say "It's not a party until something catches fire!"

I made out fine. Aside from almost passing out from the heat at Corvettes for Kids.

I started at Vettes for Pets. Good show, and pretty big (or show I thought). Then I got to Corvettes for Kids and it was INSANE! There had to be close 400 Vettes! And I put flyers in every single one of them! C3s got C3VR Membership Info flyer and the 9/11 Tribute flyer, and all the other vettes got the 9/11 Flyer. I literally almost passed out from walking around in the heat. After I finished handing out the flyers, I sat in the shade a drank two bottles of water in about 3 minutes!

I don't think I saw that many vettes at the NCM for the Anniversary Kickoff!

Quite a turnout!

Kinda thought you would be impressed by Corvette for Kids. It is always a very good show. I was very glad to have had to opportunity to meet both George ( 4 webbers ) and Tom (bcliff). Too bad you two guys could not get over to Jimmys and watch the yard catch on fire. I think we were all almost too wiped out from the heat to even care if it was burning...hell throw a couple more burgers and dogs at it.
Adam, you left before we watched the video that Al's brother ( in law ? ) supplied. He visited someones car collection of RARE Vettes. Send Jimmy an e-mail about it cause I already forgot the name of the guys collection. Not because the video was no good, but because I am so old I forget a lot of things :-) .
Jimmy, it was fun, thanks for having us over.
See both of you tomorrow night at Hooter's.

Thanks for the update Adam, I am sure through your efforts we will be seeing more members here soon.
I wish I could have been there, but unforseen family matters took presidence.
I really wanted to meet George 4webers, but that wlll have to be another time.

glenns, what did you think of Tom's Vette, Isn't that a sweet ride ?
Have fun at hooters, If Chris "82dukman" shows, don't forget to toast his new daughter.

Hell, we'll toast her even if he doesn't show!

Rumor has it, he's not gonna make the 8/14 cruise, but will for the 9/11 cruise.

Won't hold my breath! |laugh|
