My only thought is that proably the costs involved in this would be much more then the cost to actualy drive all the way to the east coast. I don't really know this I'm just assuming this based on the cost of fuel these days, truckers and the airlines are being hit hard by the fuel costs.
If it does end up being in Rhode Island, I probably won't drive MY Pace Car there. My cousin Dennis, VP of Club Corvette in Connecticut has already offered a fill-in Corvette. He's going to let me barrow his 1978 Pace Car
