Sounds like someone needs to start an adopt a Corvette program for when you travel to another state without your Vette you can care for and drive a Vette when you are there with this program.Big%20smile

They are actually outlining charter flights in our operations manual.  Don't know the availability yet but we would basically need to fill the airplane to make it worthwhile (50-70 people)  Then I'm WAGging it would run around $350-$400/ea for the round trip.  That would probably not include catering or drinks.  I can ask.

Uh...who'd be the FO?  Confused Any other C3VR members out there certified on the CRJ 500 or 700?  And, could the plane sit idle for a weekend?????  It would be a blast, though!!!  Just imagine...daring to leave your tray table down during take off and landing!!!  Actually, Mikey would probably make me be the flight attendant! Larry driving coast to coast in any vehicle is a blast, I've done it like three times in my 23 yrs in the military.  In a Corvette would make it even that much nicer.  If I hit the mega-millions between now and then, I'll put everyone's Vette on a truck and buy us a jet for Mike to fly, hell I'll even buy the FO LOL

Route 66 - for those of us old enough to remember the show - I have always thought a cross country drive in a vette would be GREAT . How about a C-5A military transport - just load the cars, people , etc  all one one plane and go. Would that be cool or what . Unforntunately Uncle Sam doesn't loan them out very often

Just imagine doing 75 and sitting on the top deckCool
