Well today was a blast.  Got to the Quest Event Center in Seattle at 2pm (scheduled time) and didn't get inside until 4:30, there was just a little back-up outside, atleast it wasn't raining.  Once inside there were only two more lines to wait in.

I now know that I'm way out of my league in a show like this but its still fun and as you will see in the pictures my display needs alot of work dohI got a few ideas I'm going to steal from some other people for the next show like this though.

I think my two favorite cars had to be the '69 Camaro SS Pace Car, and the Black '69 Corvette.  I'll post more pictures as the weekend goes on.

I can see a black & white checkered floor under your Pace Car with a braided cord through chrome or black powder coated poles around the perimeter & a small table (for your info) to match the pole style with a black & white checkered top surface. Yes just close your eyes and imagine it.Big%20smile

And yes Larry, there are a lot of spots on my Vette after driving it in the rain to the sap meet.  I'm just glad it didn't shrink like everyone was telling me it would LOL

I'll check my schedule and see what we can get together, if I'm working late Sunday would be the only good day.  But if not then we can do something on one of the weekdays Thumbs%20Up cilrah2008-03-01 07:19:30

Looks like it was a great show Mark.
Really nice displays.
I especially liked the rotating pedestal.

And yes, black and white checks would fit right in.

Thanks everyone, it was a great show Thumbs%20Up Now the Pacers tucked away back in the garage safe and sound.  I didn't win any awards cause I didn't pay the big $$$'s to compete, but when I went back tonight to get the Vette they had laid a nice plaque inside my display for participating in the show Big%20smile

I wouldn't have stood a chance against most those cars anyways.

Yes Aaron and Dave I do have plans for Black and White checks, more along the lines of coping this idea.  The owner of the Camaro Pace Car gave me the name of his sign maker, besides I'm limited to the amount of stuff I can carry since I drive to all my shows.

Oh yes, if you have a sign like that made with your Vette's matching color design would be very nice (and all the specs are nice also).Thumbs%20UpOn a flooring under the car can be made up of interlocking squares that could break down to 6 or 8 section small enough to fit in the back.
