Now we are getting all excited again.... This time we keep our fingers crossed.
Well, i dunno if we would get the long distance trophy. But i have no worries about the northeast caravan. i will start one again and do the drive. why not it was fun last time , lets do it again.
ARE WE THERE YET?? HUH? HUh? Are We?
Adam you are the Man ..... You know I'll make it no matter what part of the West its in, hell I drove my 4x4 all the way to Vegas for a Mopar Show It was only a meger $600 in gas round trip
Tacoma/Seattle Washington has alot to offer. The LeMay Automotive Collection (Largest Privately Owned Car/Automotive Collection in the World) is a site to see. Harold LeMay is in the Guiness World Book of Records and amassed this collection by collecting garbage 10th Largest Trash Collecting Company in the US.
And not much rain here either

They may not have "tail of the dragon" but i personally know several vetters who want to run a stretch of "route 66". Wouldn't a long caravan cruis on route 66 be a lifetime adventure, i hear there a a lot of vintage (restored) tourist traps along some of the route.
I think it's great that Adam is researching the site early-the sooner we know the better we can plan our MONEY and route of travel,as well as planning vacation time off to alow for a long leasurely cruise with plenty of stops and site seeing pictures.

I thought it was a great idea when he first talked about it and I think it's still a great idea. Wife and I will be where ever it is, with or with out car. Do the plane and car rental if necessary. I found out it's really about the people. It'll taake us a year to get over last year, but , what the hell I got nothing better to do. Of course, driving sounds intresting. Could meet up with X and make a cannonball run for it Get Hank from Canada and make it one heck of a drive. I'm sure Mike would be up for it. Maybe talk Larry and Connie to join in too. Driving some of Rt 66 would have to be part of the trip. Gosh I'm shacking with anticipation already. Damn there goes the rest of my year shot to hell.

It's one heck of a lot more fun to drive across this beautiful country with some great Corvette friends. Oh the fun we can have. With this much time to plan it will be a great trip. No matter where we go, I know we'll have a great time.
Do we have dates set yet?
We are planning things all over next spring and summer and would hate to double book with another event and have to miss it.
I just found out I might have to miss the C3 Extravaganza now . Suzy will be in Baltimore that whole week. Play it by ear time again..
