A local club rescheduled their long running show this year. They scheduled it for the same day as Corvettes for a Cure (6/11/06). This is to be the 3rd year for Corvettes for a Cure. I received an email from someone saying that they know of at least 10 cars that will not be able to go to CFAC because they'd be going to the other show.
I'm not sure what to do. I'm pretty sure holding CFAC on 6/11 would be a mistake because turnout would be really low. I can't move it to any other date in June for various reasons. I don't know if I should try to find another date in July or after, or if I should just cancel it. Canceling it would, of course, be the easiest choice... for one thing, it is very hard for me to create this show every year all by myself. I've gotten people to help on the day of the show, which was great and much appreciated, but I can't seem to get help putting the show together in the first place. So caneling the show would take a huge load off my plate. On the other hand, I'd feel bad because the charity would not get their chance to raise money.
I'm not sure what to do, and I should probably make the decision very very soon.
Anyone have any thoughts on this subject?

Sorry to hear your news. Have you given any thought to contacting other (than Corvette) car clubs in the area to maybe help you out?
Many car guys are looking for something to do and might be eager to help you out.
Good luck and let us know if we can help (long distance) in any way as well.
