This is for everyone:
If you can get C3 Vette Registry and the website address (either C3VR.com or C3VetteRegistry.com) mentioned in a Corvette Fever or Vette magazine article, C3VR will pay you $200!
The easiest way I can think of how to do this is if you and your C3 are featured in one of the magazines.
If it ever happens, just tell us which magazine, month, year & page.
Good luck and thanks for helping to spread the word about 'The Best Resource on the Net for C3 Vettes'!
I was asked recently to submit pics for consideration, to be featured in the newest Vette Brakes catalog. Havent heard yet,but would that count if I managed to get the site mentioned?
C3VR will pay you $100 if the mention gets into any other major publication (meaning a distribution of more than 10,000 people).
Thanks!
does that count for our local newspaper in Belgium ? because i can fix that for a few bucks... and recover 100 or 200 ???
Cute. No, it needs to be a full blown article about you or your Vette. Not just a classified ad that you place for $30.

Sorry, guys I have to agree with Bob! $$ no...merchandise, membership upgrades, etc., yes! Truthfully, I'm never gonna make it in one of those mags, so I have nothing to gain...or lose, but if I were to have an article published, I would mention C3VR just because of all the help and information that it's members have provided over the years.
Save the payoffs for member sponsored events, with member votes making the difference. Use it at PF to pay for everyone's breakfasts instead of just the Lifers. I don't know, I just don't think any of us became members here because we thought one day we might get some money for promoting a website, and great forum, that most of us check and contribute to almost daily (if not hourly).
Just my 2 cents, but I think the $200.00 can be better spent, Adam. It's your site, do what you feel is necessary, but I'm curious where the need came about for this.
i can only agree with Mark and Bob. Perhaps readers already understood it in my reaction , even it was written in a different style......
It is the DUTY of members to promote C3VR !!! and i think they don't want to be payed for that. ( Hope... ) No , as mentioned , applause them here in the forum , give them a shirt or 100 window stickers ?
PS No , Jim , no one Billion !
Hey Adam,
I ordered some parts from Volunteer Vettes today. So far, I've had nothing but great experiences with them. I mentioned this site to them and asked if they'd ever considered becoming a Supporting or Featured Vendor. We'll see if they respond.

I don't want to hijack the thread, but I wanted to thank you for mentioning C3VR to VV. They did contact me regarding sponsorship. I'll keep you posted.

Hey guys. . .
Just wanted to let you know that my '78 Silver Anniversary Corvette was featured in the December 2005 issue of "Corvette Enthusiast" magazine on pages 56 through 59. Four pages and 7 color pictures. The feature was called "Two-Tone Silver Salute" and they did a great job with the article. I couldn't ask for a better feature on my Corvette. It started 3 years ago when I was at the American Dream Corvette Show in Pottstown, PA . . when a photographer named Bob Stone said he would like to take some pictures of a Silver Anniversary. . and 3 years later it finally appeared. In the article I mentioned. . ." With technical support from the C3 Vette Registry, moral support from fellow members of the Skyline Drive Corvette club,. . ."
