Continuous Improvement.
Gotta love it.

Adam- Is there a setting somewhere that I can use to make my default text a set size and color?

If you mean for when you enter a new message, no.
If you mean for reading, no to that too, but you can make it bigger using the zoom feature of your browser.

Since the button move I have noticed that thread content that used to be visible when not logged into the site now can only be seen after logging in.  Was that intended with the modification?

Adam  I have noticed since the buttons have been moved (which I like) If I don't log in in , in the replies to a post all I see is the buttons. I don't see any of the response. It is with IE 11. Google Chrome also.
