Hey Gang.

Just wanted to alert you to a couple of changes I made to the forums today.

1) You can now have up to 1000 characters in your forum signature. (This is up from 200).  Please keep in mind that if you use pictures in your signature, the recomended pixel width is 200, with a maximum of 400.  If you need help reducing your images, please contact Norsky. To edit your forum signature, click the Forum Control Panel MenuSettings button near the top of any forum page, then click the "Edit Forum Profile" (or "Profile Information" link). While I was at it... I put a note in your C3VR Member Profile near the forum signature that says "Please edit your forum signature in the Forums Settings area" so that hopefully people will no longer be confused as to where to do it.

2) When you post a new message or reply, you should now be immediately taken to your post after it is saved.  This is different because you had been taken to the top of the page, not your post. Also, depending on your browser... when you get an email notice of a post or reply, when you click the link in the email you should be taken directly to the post, again, instead of the top of the page.

Hopefully, these little changes will make your time on C3VR just a bit more enjoyable.

Thanks for your support!

You know that old saying about the cobbler's kids - well I finally got around to updating my own signature...!!!        Those of you who have 2005 C3VR calendars may recognize the September picture.

Thanks Mick!

The thumbnail thing is really easy.  Here's how (just change all of the ? to [ and the ! to ] ):

?URL=the_bigger_image_URL_goes_here!?IMG!the_thumbnail_image_goes_here?/IMG!
(click image to see a bigger version)?/URL!

Keep in mind that if you are referencing an image in either your Personal File Folder or Personal Home Page spaces you do not need to include the "https://www.c3vr.com" in the image URL.  Just start with "/member_uploads/......." or "/member_pages/......."

Happy posting...!!!
