Ok guys and guys, I figure I need a central location for features that still need to be added.  So I'm going to keep the list at the top of this thread.

If you see something missing, please reply to let me know what.

Please ONLY reply with suggestions, no chatter.

Thanks!

I'd like to see the "quick reply" box at the bottom of existing posts as before instead of having to click on the reply button first

Adam, I don't know if this is even possible, but I'll throw it at-choo anyway. When replying to a post, is there any way to have the thread displayed on the same page as the Reply Box? What I mean is, sometimes when posting a reply, it would be nice to be able to scroll thru the thread and see the entire thread...in case I forgot who said what, or a certain specification/number/data in someone else's post. Other forums I am on have this feature, but afaik, C3VR never has. Is this something that might be possible down the line, once you get all of the other stuff done?

As an example, I cannot now remember what all you have on your list in your first post...so if I want to see it, I'll have to open another tab/window, and go to the thread to view it, and refresh my feeble memory. So I'm afraid I might mention something that someone else already has...I'm such a dweeb...
Thanks for doing what ya do! Hug

My biggest "Wish" is for the "New Post" button/link, which you already have on the list. I have to click on my bookmark every time I wanna go back to the "Active Topics" page, which slows my fun down.
The "Post" and "Preview" buttons at the bottom of the reply box are inverted from where they were before, which has confused me more than once.

Will there still be an I/M feature(eventually)?

Also, once you get the P/M back up, will all of our previous P/Ms still be intact?

I think the "quick reply" box mentioned above should satisfy this request. But I can also put the thread on the full reply page too.  However, putting an entire thread on any one page would contradict your desire to not have all post in a thread on a single page.

I'm not really sure how what you're asking for is different than the 24 hour list (that will be changed to offer multiple days).  You mean posts that you have not yet read? Or posts that are new since a specific time?

The IM feature is sort of here. I just have to reintegrate it throughout.

I can restore the old PMs, yes.

Boy...can't get nuthin past you, eh? LOL

The "New Post" thing I mean is just the button at the tops of the pages to get us back to the Active topics page, which I believe you have already said you were in the process of doing.

Thank you , sir!

May be it is because I do not know how to use the post reply but it would be nice that once you posted a reply that you were taken back to the basic 24 hour Forums listing.  Maybe there is a way other than clicking the Forums tab then selecting the 24 hour tab or just clicking back three times on your browser.  Do not know but that is what I do now.

It is not a big thing.  What you do with this forum and what the member do make this a great location for help and meeting others.    Just a little touch up on the functionality if you have nothing else to do like when it is raining or snowing and you can not go for a drive in a corvette.

Of course we do not have any of the stuff in Southern California so there is alway something to do like drive a corvette. Forgive me the devil made me write about the rain and snow.  I had to do it for ebo's sake.  Beer

I would like for the post count issue to be resolved. I have not been credited with a post since the new software was installed. I'm NOT insignificant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That will fix itself over time. Not sure how long it will take, but google will purge old entries and the correct ones will wind up in their place.
