I am considering implementing a new benefit for members of C3VR and, as usual, would like some feedback regarding it.

The benefit: Up to $500 of insurance deductible reimbursement for a stolen C3.

The details: Each member would be eligible to receive up to $500 of reimbursement per membership year for a stolen C3 owned by that member.  Proof in the form of insurance declarations page and police report would need to be supplied.  Maximum one incident per membership year.

Feeback Questions for all of you:
  1. Do you feel this would be a valuable benefit for you?
  2. Would this increase the likelihood of you renewing your current membership when the time comes (for standard and gold)?
  3. Do you think this would attract new members?
  4. Would you be willing to pay $5 more per year knowing that you'd be getting this benefit?
  5. For current lifetime members: Would you be interested in paying $5/year as an optional add-on to your current benefits?

Thanks!

1.  yes i think it would be beneficial (i've been patiently waiting for someone to steal my car Smile)  just kidding, of course.
but sure, it's a great idea.

2.  it wouldn't INCREASE my likelyhood of renewing.  i think most gold members anyway would renew no matter what.  i'll continue to renew every year regardless, or until i just "man up" and get the lifetime membership.

3.  i'd definitely see it as an attractive feature for someone checking out the site.

4.  sure, i'd dish out $5 more for the membership for this.  like i said  i think it's a good idea and if someone gets their car stolen,  heck, any help with the stress would be appreciated.

5.  N/A.... for now

Here's my thoughts -
1. Not for me personally. I have the vette insured through Hagerty with zero deductible.
2. Lifetime member - N/A
3. Yes.
4. It has potential. I would offer it at a slightly higher price for standard members than for gold members. That will help entice a standard member to upgrade to gold. Growing recurring revenue is the goal here.
5.I wouldn't, but it could be very good for those that don't have a deductible policy.

To sum up, although not for me, I think it could be a good add-on to help grow the membership and entice membership upgrades.

I am not able to have a good policy on the car due to no locked garage to store it in. It's the only policy I could get without it.
So my thoughts:
1. This would be a good deal for me.
2. I have all intentions to renew but this sure adds frosting to the cake.
3. I absolutely think it would increase membership. To what level depends  on where you add this policy.
4. I would pay $5 extra, yes.
5. Not a Lifer yet.

I'm in the same boat with John...full coverage/no deduct.

I realize not everyone has the same deal tho. It sounds like it would be a great deal for those with regular insurance. It might be a good "inticement" to put out there for newer members, or for those that are thinking of becoming paid members. $5 a year ain't that much to cover, or at least recover, some part of a deductable.

Adam,

1. This would be a great benefit for me, as I have a deductible.
2. I would renew with or without this benefit.
3. I think this would attract new members.
4. I would pay an extra $5.00 for this benefit.
5.N/A

I think it's a very interesting idea.  I can see where it may help attract a few folks.  The way my car looks now it's the least likely to be stolen, I would go with this one.  If nothing else the $5 can help the site or one of our members.
 Perhaps this should be optional.

I say yes.
